Handmade with purpose: the people behind every Baazyaft piece

The Baazyaft artisan team together

When you pick up a Baazyaft tote bag, it is easy to notice the colour first: the bold paintwork, the careful stitching, the small details that make it feel like nothing else on the shelf. What is harder to see is the person who made it.

Baazyaft exists to change that. We are a Pakistan-based social enterprise that empowers women and transgender artisans through sustainable, circular fashion. Every piece is ethically crafted, eco-friendly and made to create real social impact.

Why we started

Many talented people in Pakistan have the skill to make beautiful things but little access to dignified, steady work. Women and transgender artisans in particular are often shut out of traditional workplaces. Baazyaft was built to open a door: skills turn into products, products turn into income, and income turns into independence.

We do not give charity. We give opportunity, and the work speaks for itself.

What “circular” means for us

Circular fashion keeps materials in use for as long as possible. Wherever we can, we turn leftover and upcycled fabrics into new, useful products instead of letting them go to waste. It is better for the planet, and it gives every piece a story that began before it reached you.

  • Handmade, one piece at a time, so no two are exactly alike.
  • Thoughtful, eco-friendly materials and upcycling wherever possible.
  • Dignified work for the artisans who make each product.

What your purchase does

Each order supports the artisans who made it and helps keep their craft alive. It is a small act with a real result: a person doing work they are proud of, and a product you will actually enjoy using.
